ADU Eligibility ScoreTM (AES) is a service to evaluate how well-suited a given property is for ADU development in the City of Portland.

The AES aids real estate transactions by providing a non-binding professional assessment of the ease of ADU development on a property. It informs the home buying process during real estate transactions.

For sellers, AES will provide 3rd party validation of the ADU potential of a property which will help optimally help properties sell quicker when listed, or for higher values. The AES is intended for properties where knowledgeable realtors are already predisposed to state, “This property has great ADU potential“.
